After four years of playing D2 college basketball at NYU and four years in the Army, John discovered CrossFit in 2017. His love for sport and working out quickly turned to a weightlifting focus. Just a year later he quit his full-time job in IT to become a coach. John spent hour after hour in the gym, honing his skills both as a coach and athlete.

After several years of competition, John made the decision to scale back his focus and returned to a full time career as a metal Lather, while continuing to Coach part-time.

John is a fan of dogs, spending time at home and of course, working out! He’s excited to help lead the community at CrossFit Bridge & Tunnel and welcomes every opportunity to share his knowledge.
